4 Panel 2 Square Composite FD30S Fire Doors
Our internal use FD30S composite fire doors have been fire tested on both the internal and external side and smoke tested for up to 30 minutes (FD30s) and independently assessed by Certifire (CF5705). All internal fire doors have been tested to BS476 Part 22, and subject to the Q-Mark enhanced security scheme. Each composite fire door in the range is manufactured to a high level of security and complies with PAS023/PAS024 security accreditation as well as Secured by Design requirements.
All our internal FD30S fire doors are Dual Scope Third Party Certificated for Fire and Security and SBD accredited. They comply with the latest certification of fire protection products and have been fire tested both sides (bi directionally).
The timber solid core certified FD30S doors should only be used as an internal door set with resistance to fire and smoke and should not be specified or installed as an external door set.
For reference, the definition of an external door set as defined in BS EN 14351-1:2006 is a 'door set, which separates the internal climate from the external climate of a construction for which the main intended use is the passage of pedestrians'.
